Even our tested drinking water quality still contains minute amounts of microbiological material in a concentration that is still harmless. However, errors in use and technical system deficiencies (e.g. stagnation pipes, etc. must always be remedied in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance) can very easily lead to hygienically questionable situations that result in Legionella contamination in the TWA.

To increase the hygiene safety of the entire TWA many times over, we use the technology of an ultrafiltration system specially developed for drinking water systems. In addition to hygiene safety, energy savings of up to 30% (CO2 reductions) can be realised by gradually lowering the temperature level. By ensuring a reduced temperature level, the entire TWA is protected, the service life is significantly increased and maintenance costs are minimised.

Increased usage temperatures of around 65°C and more, to ensure hygiene in the system, are no longer necessary. In exactly the same way, frequently used measures such as a legionella circuit, in which the entire system is briefly heated to over 70°C, can be permanently avoided.

The patented technology inside the plant ensures a high level of plant safety as well as hygiene safety with scientific proof. We recommend carrying out the measure in close coordination with the responsible health authorities.

How does the technology work?

When using the new technology, which represents a central monitoring option for ensuring hygiene for the complete TWA with regard to all hygiene-relevant parameters and components, you benefit from microbiologically pure water. Viruses/bacteria as well as microplastics are reliably removed from the water due to the pore size of 0.02µm. Thus, the pore size is approx. 50 times smaller than, for example, the size of a legionella. Minerals (salts) remain unchanged in the water during this process.

The use of ultrafiltration ensures effective management of your drinking water hygiene to avoid financial and liability risks. A specially developed, as well as patented, protection mechanism ensures that no stagnation or recontamination from the TWA into the system can occur, even in the system.
